17 July 1993: Between Polychrome Pass and the Eielson Visitor Center, we came upon this grizzley browsing on berries (soapberries?) very near the road (perhaps 15 yards). These photos were taken from the bus, although there were several professional photographers on the side of the road between the bus and the bear.
