01 August 1993: This was the beginning of the end for our trip.  That is, this was the first day of the trip back to Texas, the first part of which was to return to Anchorage via the Seward Highway.  Our only stop was at Portage Glacier, at the end of the Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet.
