12 August 1993: We flew on L.A.B. Flying Service from Skagway to Gustavus with two other passengers.  It was a wonderful flight down the Taiya Inlet, passing Haines, up over Davidson Glacier, winding through the Takhinsha Mountains, and then down Casement Glacier to the Muir Inlet of Glacier Bay.  The flight then followed the shoreline of Glacier Bay to the "wilderness" runway at Gustavus.  A 25-minute bus ride took us the Glacier Bay Lodge at Bartlett Cove on Glacier Bay.  About 3 hours after leaving our motel in Skagway, we were in our cabin at Bartlett Cove.
