Back Next Tron Kirk, Ednburgh, Scotland

29 April 1997:  Looking down High Street (the "Royal Mile") at Tron Kirk (center).  It was built on orders from King Charles I between 1636 and 1647.  It served as one of the four Edinburgh parish churches until 1952.  It was then left to decay and the interior was gutted.  It is now used as a small marketplace.
