Cannongate Kirk, Edinburgh, Scotland

29 April 1997:  Cannongate Kirk, on the lower part of the Royal Mile, was founded in 1688 and completed in 1691.

The church serves the Parish of Cannongate in Edinburgh's Old Town, as well as the Palace of Holyroodhouse and Edinburgh Castle.
