Back Next Old High Church and Free North Church, Inverness, Scotland

10 May 1997:  There are several other churches along the banks of the River Ness in Inverness.   Among them, on the left, is the Old High Church; on the right is the Free North Church.
Old High Church, completed in 1772 although portions date from the 15th and 16th centuries, was the first Inverness congregation.  Free North Church is a Presbyterian church which dates from 1893.
