The Pikes Peak Cog Railway, officially known as the Manitou & Pikes Peak Railway, is the highest cog railway in the world. It climbs about 7,500 feet in a distance of 8.9 miles to the summit at 14,110 feet. The one-way trip takes about 75 minutes.
