Rocky Mountain National Park's Trail Ridge Road extends 40 miles from the Grand Lake entrance on the southwest to the Deer Ridge Junction on the east. The road crosses Milner Pass at 10,758 feet and Fall River Pass at 11,796 feet. This spectacular highway gives the visitor interesting views of the alpine tundra above the timberline.
