Hans and Brita Chilson Huseth were the parents of Edward and my great-grandparents. Hans was the first of the Huseth family to come to America in 1868. He first homesteaded in Grant County in 1871, but went back to Goodhue to marry the farmer's daughter and did not return until 1880. Brita was born in Goodhue County, Minnesota.
