This was an account notebook kept by Socrates Nelson, fur trader and owner of the first general store in Stillwater, Minnesota. The book is 3 X 5 inches in size with 38 pages, 13 of which are blank. The second page is dated January 1, 1845. Items in yellow are my comments. Items in red are things I haven't been able to decipher. Names are often difficult to determine.
