Memorial Stadium, where I watched Gopher football games from 1945 to 1958, was torn down in 1981 and Gophers  began playing off-campus in the Metrodome.   This is the new Twin Cities Federal Bank Stadium which will be the home of Gopher football in the fall of 2009.
