Looking down the beginning of the Royal Mile from the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle. The 241-foot spire (tallest in Scotland) is the former Highland Tolbooth Kirk and now the Edinburgh Festival Centre. The castle-like structure on the left is Camera Obscura, which offers panoramic camera views of Edinburgh.
